Parents usually spend a lot of time choosing footwear for their kids. Not only are they looking for good deals, but they are also looking for safe, durable and comfortable shoes. The last thing a parent wants is a pair of shoes for their boys that aren’t safe, which is why many parents question the safety of boys slip ons. To some, they just don’t seem like shoes that will protect their son’s feet, but as you can see from the information below, they are just as safe as other types of shoes for kids.

Many people doubt the safety of boys slip on shoes because they don’t have laces to keep the shoe secure on the foot. People actually believe that laces are responsible for keeping shoes safe, however there are other materials used in shoe making that are just as effective. Slip-ons in particular are either made with elastic at the mouth or sturdy Velcro straps at the top, and both materials do an equally good job at making the wearing process safe. Therefore, parents shouldn’t really worry too much about the safety of these shoes.

For people who are looking for boots, dress shoes or casual shoes that are slip-ons, take a look at a list of popular choices for parents:

Robeez Mini Shoez Infant/Toddler Trainer Sneaker (comes with Velcro straps and sold in black, white and gray) – $37.00

Beeko Toddler Adam Oxford (comes with Velcro straps and elastic mouth; sold in brown) – $53.00

Deer Stags Little Kid/Big Kid Brian Slip-On (black dress shoe) – $24.95

Skechers Little Kid/Big Kid Urbantrack Ii – Rage (brown climbing shoes with laces) – $39.99

Hush Puppies Little Kid/Big Kid Lincoln Slip On (brown dress shoe) – $45.00

Teva – Kids – Downtown Ola (brown hiking shoes with both Velcro straps and laces) – $42.00

Bearpaw Toddler 405 Dream Boot (black suede) – $59.95

AccessoWear Infant Toddler Girl’s and Boy’s Water Clogs (black) – $13.99

Kenneth Cole REACTION Little Kid/Big Kid Fast Cash Monkstrap (black dress shoe with a single strap) – $54.95

As you can see, the prices vary for these favorite slip-ons, so you would need to choose a pair for your son that will not only be safe and comfortable, but also suit your budget. For everyday use, boys’ slip-ons are ideal for your son whether he gets involved in sporting activities or just needs them to run around and play.

If you have kids, you already know that they love to run about and play! While girls tend to be a little bit laid back in most cases, boys just love to be out and about. While you don’t want to obstruct their play time, you want to make sure that they have the right boys running shoes, whether they are competing in races or just having a whale of a time outdoors.

Before you go out and purchase the first pair of boy running shoes, take a look at some helpful tips so you end up with a quality purchase:

Above all, running shoes for boys should be absolutely comfortable. You definitely don’t want to get them shoes that will hinder their movement and have them hopping around in discomfort!

A good buying tip would be to select running shoes that have a little gap around the inner lining. While you don’t want to end up with running shoes that are too big, it is a very good idea to by them with just enough room. That way, your boys won’t end up with cramped feet.

Take your son to the store when you’re going shopping for running shoes. That way, he will have the chance to walk around in the store with the shoes on for a few minutes to test the feeling.

Avoid the cheapest brands of running shoes made from rubber. Not only are they uncomfortable, but also unreliable and a complete waste of money. Your son will wreck those in record time!

If you are shopping online for running shoes, bear in mind that different brands fit differently. Therefore, you need to consider that and pay attention to the size charts. Some sites actually show sizes in inches, which will be more helpful when you’re shopping for shoes online.

There are running shoes, and then there are running shoes. One important tip you should remember is never to sacrifice quality for price. Inevitably, you’ll feel the financial pinch and end up having to buy another pair of running shoes all over again. Take your time and focus on the tips mentioned above and get a pair of kids running shoes that will last for a long time. That way, your pocket won’t be constantly burdened and your kid’s feet will always be comfortable.

Kids and adults alike love watching and playing sports. In the case of children, their realm of reality is that much wider than adults so they feel they’re actually capable of doing a lot of the stuff their favorite sports players do! And that is exactly why they like kids jordans. Kids love what having those shoes represents and they feel almost invincible on the basketball court when they wear them, thanks to the great Michael Jordan and his awesome moves on court.

Air Jordans are probably some of the bestselling retro sneakers of all time and many kids love to identify with Michael Jordan, who the shoes are named after. However, parents are the ones who feel it financially when their children express interest in owning a pair of Air Jordans! It is still possible to get original Air Jordans from the Nike stores and Nike website, but you will definitely end up spending a ton of money.

Instead, if you want to find a pair of kids air jordans, why not consult the following websites so you can get them for cheap:

eBay.com – eBay is the center for just about any bargain purchase you can think of! You can buy Air Jordans new, used or barely worn for a fraction of what you would pay at the Nike store

Amazon.com – Amazon is another marketplace that offers great deals on favorite items. Although the price ranges won’t be as low as eBay, you can sure find a good bargain!

DrJays.com – this is a popular sporting goods website that sells mainly products named after famous sports celebrities. And of course, you can always expect to get great prices.

PickYourShoes.com – this website has a wide range of Air Jordans available, and the prices also vary widely. However, what’s great is that you have variety to choose from and you will definitely be getting value for money

Overstock.com – Overstock is one of the best places to go to for bargains on favorite items! Although the selection at Overstock might not be as wide as some other sites, you can definitely find a good deal.

If you want to make your child happy by getting them kid jordans, remember there are ways you can accomplish that without leaving a huge hole in your pocket! Visit any of these sites above so you can get good deals on Air Jordans for your kids.

Boys spend a lot of time each day running around and having fun. They just seem to love the outdoors and all the activities that they can participate in. However, at the end of the day when they are pooped and ready for some relaxation, the feet definitely need to be pampered first! Parents with active boys should not only focus on shoes for playing sports and running around, but they should also invest in some good boy slippers for the necessary downtime.

There is a wide range of boy’s slippers available on the market today. Unlike shoes which are more favorable when made from solid materials like leather, slippers can be made of other materials and still be sturdy and comfortable. Here are some favorite slippers for boys that many parents have found themselves buying online or in stores:

Crocs Toddler/Little Kid Slippers – the insanely popular Crocs brand has sold millions of pairs across the world. Boys really like the look and feel of Crocs, and parents truly love the price of $30.00 for this favorite purchase

Reef Little Kid/Big Kid Kids Slap Sandal – Reef makes a popular black sandal that is perfect for both little kids and bigger kids. It is a simple thong sandal that is completely comfortable and worth the $22.00 that they cost

Adidas Kids Salissage Slide – if your boys aren’t much into thong sandals, they should try these Adidas slide sandals. Not only are they trendy, but they are extremely comfortable and very affordable at just $25.00. Not bad!

Sperry Top-Sider Little Kid/Big Kid Sanibel Leather Thong Sandal – this is a longtime brand name in footwear and always brings quality to the table. This brown thong sandal is made of leather for the most part, yet it retails for a very affordable $17.47. Now that’s value for money in boy’s slippers!

Cobian Little Kid/Big Kid Jr. Exec Sandal – for the boys who love the feel and look of a stylish pair of slippers, there is the Cobian Exec Sandal. These black thong sandals are very stylish for both big boys and little boys, and parents get away with a steal because they only cost $14.89!

Boy slipper styles are very easy to find today. In particular, parents can spend just a few minutes on the internet and come out with a great purchase that their boys will love and feel totally comfortable in!

Little boys are true adventurous spirits! They get involved in all sorts of activities and challenges on a day to day basis, which is why it is important that parents equip them with the right footwear to take on expeditions. From playing sports to hunting and hiking, little boys get involved in it all so boy boots will always come in handy.

When buying boots for boys, you need to make sure they can handle what they are being used for. First and foremost, durability is a must. Always focus first on whether or not the boots will last because you don’t want your kid getting hurt due to inadequate boots. Here are some other criteria for choosing boy boots:

Won’t scuff easily – good boy boots should be able to endure the wear and tear of whatever activity they’re used for, then cleaned and made ready for the next mission.

Multipurpose – it would be great if you could get boots that can be used for many activities. It saves you money and gives your child the chance to get used to them

Reliable sizing – you can always count on some brands to have reliable sizing on shoes. Especially if you are buying on the internet, make sure you choose a brand that you’re familiar with. If you’ve never heard of them, check customer reviews to see what people have to say about sizing

Climate friendly – there are some activities that boys do all year round, regardless of whether there’s rain or snow. Getting boots that can hold up during cold climates and wet weather is sure a plus

Depending on the activity, there is a wide range of boy boots to choose from. Here are some popular options that customers actually like:

Kamik Little Kid/Big Kid Snowkone 4 Snow Bot – Camo-like for $34.95

Kids’ Itasca Snow Stomper Boots (earth tones) – $29.99

Western Chief Toddler/Little Kid Camo Rain Boot – $25.18

Kidorable Toddler/Little Kid Dinosaur Rain Boot (green) – $29.00

Sorel Little Kid/Big Kid Cub Boot (black) – $55.00

Bearpaw Toddler 405 Dream Boot (black suede) – $59.95

Spend some time choosing the ideal boys boot. You can also involve him in the selection process so he ends up with a pair that he totally loves. Just don’t forget to look for value for money!

Boys soccer cleats aren’t as easy to buy as many parents are lead to believe. By the time many of these parents realize they were a little too hasty in their purchase, it is often times too late to return the cleats (since most stores don’t usually take back muddy, used cleats).

If you want to avoid this problem and not throw your money out of the window, here are a few tips to help you pick out the perfect boys soccer cleats:

Obviously the most important aspect to be aware of is the fit. If your son has cleats that are too big, he will be stumbling all around the soccer field. If they are too tight, he will be left with painful sores and blisters. Also, since soccer players use their feet to kick the ball, it is imperative that they have close-fitting shoes that give them the right “feel”.

When you visit the store, be sure to that you bring along a pair of soccer socks and the shin pads your child will be wearing when he plays. This will give an accurate fit as possible. In general, you will want the shoe to have about a half inch of space between the heel and back of your son’s foot. Have him jog around and make sure that the cleats feel comfortable – but watch for any slippage.

You will want to look for cleats that have regulation studs for soccer. Keep in mind that football and baseball cleats use various sized studs and materials, and a referee may not let your child play with illegal studs on his shoes (since they can be dangerous to other players).

You should understand that if your son is younger, you will most likely be buying a new pair of boys soccer cleats every year. Don’t try to squeeze a couple of years out of the cleats by buying a size too big. It will only result in blisters and a poor performance on the field.

Finally, explain to your son that he needs to take care of his cleats. They should be cleaned after every game so that they don’t become hardened and uncomfortable, since the leather will mold to your child’s foot.

The type of girls ballet slippers you buy for your child can have a huge impact on her performance. If you are new to buying ballet slippers for girls, then I would strongly recommend brushing up with our tips below, before walking into any store.

First and foremost, you will want to buy the proper size. It is tempting to get a pair of girl ballet slippers in a bigger size, to save money. However, if the ballet slipper is too big, your daughter will be slipping all over the dance floor, and could potentially get injured. On the flip side, if you buy ones that are too small, her toes will be forced to curl up, which can be extremely uncomfortable.

If you are looking to save money and your daughter is new to ballet, you can buy a pair of canvas ballet slippers. These are usually inexpensive when compared to the more durable, leather slippers. A big benefit of the leather slippers, is that they will expand with your daughter’s feet, as they tend to swell up when she dances.

You must also consider the sole, which can be split or full. A split sole is more flexible and is generally recommended for more advanced dancers, while a beginner should stick with the more protective full sole ballet slippers.

Be sure to have your daughter try on the slippers while she is wearing her tights or peds, to ensure an exact fit. The slippers should be a snug fit, but if her toes are curled up, go up another size.

Once you have bought a girl ballet slipper, you may need to purchase elastic that needs to be sewn on to keep the foot secure. Always have the instructor double check the fitting and measurement before you sew the elastic on.

Finally, I would suggest buying two pairs of ballet slippers; one for practice and one for performances. Some slippers are designed specifically for each, so be sure to ask the saleperson if you aren’t sure.

Slippers for girls can be fuzzy, colorful and in some cases, downright outlandish. I have seen some really silly girl slippers when I was doing research for various articles, but one thing many of them had in common – people bought them because they wanted comfortable and warm slippers. Of course not all slippers are quite as comfortable as they look, and even worse, as warm.

If you want a girls slipper that will keep your daughter’s feet happy and snug, then it only makes sense that you buy a quality brand that won’t fall apart the moment you throw them in the wash. You can buy slippers on the cheap, but in most cases you get what you pay for. With that in mind, here are a few quality slippers you can buy for your little girl:

Foamtreads Tin Tin Slipper – what I love about these slippers, is that you can pull a drawstring to keep then on your daughter’s foot. They are also extremely comfortable and come in a variety of colors. The slippers are so durable that they can also be worn outside – just don’t wear them for soccer practice though!

Kid’s Tex Moc (Acorn) – these are the ultimate fuzzy and cozy slippers. They have the perfect blend of suede and memory foam to help cushion your feet with every step. The colors are pretty wild and I doubt you will have trouble picking out one for your daughter. These can also be worn outside as well.

Kid’s Loki Slipper (Bearpaw) – here is another well made pair of slippers that can be worn by your little one around the house, or even to the mall if she so desires. Made of suede and sheepskin, the footbed is extremely cozy and will have your daughter’s tootsies singing for joy!

Remember, you get what you pay for with most products, especially slippers. So if you decide to go the cheap route, don’t be shocked when they fall apart within a few short months.

Girls flip flops can be worn with stylish jeans, skirts, sundresses and shorts. These are extremely versatile sandals that can compliment just about any casual outfit you can imagine. And to boot, they keep your feet nice and cool in the summer, especially on those humid days when you wish you could peel off all of your clothes!

Each summer there are dozens of new girl flip flops being revealed by designers, so we thought as the warmer weather moves in, what better time than now to look at some hot new flip flops for girls!

FitFlop Walkstar Thong Sandal – now you can shape up your legs and butt, while wearing these sexy sandals. These revolutionary sandals force your legs muscle to work harder as you walk, which tones up your entire lower body. While they take a day or two to get used to, once you adapt to them, they are really easy to walk in!

Orthaheel South Beach Flip Flop Sandal – this is not only a very stylish sandal that can be worn with just about any fun summer outfit, but it is designed to give optimal support for your foot. I would go into a big explanation about the “triplanar motion control system”, but I don’t want to bore you to death.

Captiva Flip Flop (Crocs) – now instead of just making ugly shoes, Crocs is finally making flip flops. These are extremely colorful, in several pastel shades. Best of all they are ergonomic and extremely lightweight.

Of course there are a number of new girl flip flops on the market each month, so we will try to keep you updated with the hot new styles as they come out!

Girls dress sandals can go with many outfits, including sundresses, skirts and even dress pants. I have dressed my daughters with these sandals on both casual and formal occasions, and received a number of compliments. Picking out dress sandals for girls takes a sharp eye, and also requires a good bit of fashion sense, so don’t let a man pick them out for your daughter (just kidding, sort of!).

If you are looking for girls dress sandals that can be used for more formal occasions, I have a few in mind that may fit the bill. These sandals look fabulous with just about any summer outfit, and are all the rage with my daughter and her friends.

Big Kid What A Dress 2 Sandal (Kenneth Cole) – get this in black and avoid the brown (not very becoming). It is a very sophisticated and stylish sandal that has bow and rhinestone detailing, along with a slight heel. This dress sandal will make your little girl feel all grown up and goes perfectly with a black skirt or dress.

Beca Michele 9405 Dress Sandal – this heel strap sandal come sin four lovely colors, including our favorite, champagne. It has a chunky heel so your daughter won’t lose her balance, and an elegant look that goes well with a flower girl dress or a simple party dress.

Coloriffics Big Kid Emily Sandal – here is probably my favorite girls dress sandal. It has an open toe and very delicate strappings that will accentuate your daughter’s feet. It has a very wide heel, and would be ideal for any little girl’s first “heel shoe”. Match this stylish sandal with formal skirts or bright, vibrant dresses.

I saved the best news for last, as all of these dress sandals come in under $40 each. So not only are you getting a flashy and glamorous sandal, you are saving money as well!
